How to Import Music From a USB Flash Drive to Windows Media Player

    • 1). Click the "Start" button at the bottom left corner of the screen, and then click "All Programs".

    • 2). Scroll to "Windows Media Player" and click it once to launch the program.

    • 3). Insert your USB flash drive into a USB port on your computer. Once Media Player recognizes the device it will appear in the "Library" column on the left side of the window, identified by the drive letter assigned by Windows.

    • 4). Click the arrow to the left of the USB flash drive letter to expand the contents of the drive.

    • 5). Click "Music" under the USB flash drive letter. Windows Media Player will search the flash drive for any music files, then will display the located files for playback in the program.
