How to Change the Headlight on a 1996 Chrysler Sebring
- 1). Open the hood and unscrew the mounting screws that hold the headlight assembly in place on your Sebring.
- 2). Slide the Sebring's headlight assembly forward to expose the back of the headlight assembly.
- 3). Pull the power connector out of the back of the headlight ballast.
- 4). Turn the headlight counterclockwise and pull it out of the housing assembly.
- 5). Insert the new headlight and turn it clockwise to lock it into the housing. The tabs on the headlight will need to line up with the notches in the housing before the headlight will completely lock to the housing assembly.
- 6). Reconnect the power connector to the back of the headlight assembly.
- 7). Slide the headlight assembly back into place and secure it to the chassis of the Sebring using the factory mounting screws and a screwdriver.
