300Zx Racing Specs
- Three types of coupes existed for the 300ZX: a regular coupe, a "2+2" characterized by a slightly larger wheelbase and the addition of two small rear seats, and the top-level "Twin Turbo." The convertible body style made its debut for the 1993 model year.
- All versions and model years of the Nissan 300ZX had a 3-liter V-6 engine. That of the Twin Turbo, however, was a turbocharged version -- thus its name, and pumped out 300 horsepower and 280 foot-pounds of torque. The engine on the other three models generated a comparatively anemic yet still decent 222 horsepower and 198 foot-pounds of torque.
- For its production run, the Twin Turbo version of the Nissan 300ZX had a peak of around 5 seconds for a 0-to-60-mph distance and 14 seconds for a quarter-mile. By comparison, the 2+2 had a 0-to-60-mph and quarter-mile peak time of 7 seconds and 16 seconds, respectively.
