I found out about this campground www.ucampnh.com, and I tent camped there in July 2007.
Describe your camping trip:
The campground is modern and has a very up-to-date store. On arrival, we found a clean and groomed site ready for us to set up. The Saco River runs directly through the campground allowing for swimming, tubing and just hanging out.
Pros: The campground has a gated entrance, which we found to be a nice security measure.
We stayed for one week and were pleased to see the owners were always riding around checking things out. The restrooms were always clean and open, which helps make any trip better.
Cons: Travel time from my location.
Nearby attractions: Storyland, Santa's Village, Mount Washington and many trails.
Further comments: Overall we had a very pleasant trip.
