- 1). Open the hood.
- 2). Locate the air filter box which is directly behind the passenger side headlight.
- 3). Open both metal clips on top of the air box by flipping them upward.
- 4). Remove the plastic top to the air filter box.
- 5). Release the clip that holds the air filter in place, and pull the filter toward the front of the car.
- 6). Put the new filter in.
- 7). Snap the clip over the top of the air filter to hold it in place.
- 8). Replace the plastic top to the air filter box.
- 9). Close both metal clips by pushing them down.
