Mines of Solomon
There are traditionally three mines of Solomon hidden in the Old Testament of the Bible and each of them is full of treasure that in the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ are relevant to everyone's journey of destiny for all times in this world.
The first mine is 'the mine of the intellectual '.
It is found in the book of Proverbs.
'The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel;'
'To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;'
'To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;'
'To give subtilty to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.'
'A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:'
'To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.'
Proverbs 1:1-6(KJV)
Christ is the wisdom of God (1 Cor.1:24,30), the only solution for mankind's ultimate challenge which is sin and its grim consequences!
It is only in Him (Col.2:3) that wisdom to discover, pursue, and fulfill divine destiny can be accessed and utilized!
This brand of wisdom is accessible to anyone in Christ (James 1:5), even if one is not a celebrated intellectual!
The second book is 'the mine of the pessimist'.
It is located in the book of Ecclesiastes.
'The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.'
'Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.'
Eccl. 1:1-2(KJV)
Outside of Christ, life is truly meaningless!
All that one can be, have, and do outside Him is vanity, just like a beautiful bubble, that bursts once grasped!
In Christ, one has all things (1 Cor.3:21-23) relevant to divine destiny, without being possessed by anything!
The third and final book is 'the mine of the romantic'.
It is accessed in the book of the Song of Songs.
'The song of songs, which is Solomon's.'
'Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.'
Song of Songs 1:1-2(KJV)
In Christ is the perfect revelation of God's unconditional love to fallen humanity (John 3:16)!
As one humbly and openly responds to this brand of love one is enabled to relate with the Lord, and every other person linked to one's divine destiny (1 John 4:16).
Divine love to, in, and through anyone fulfills divine destiny both individually and corporately!
In conclusion, all three mines of Solomon are interlinked in Christ to enrich anyone that comes to Christ, and thereafter abides in Him, with all that it takes to fulfill divine destiny!!!
'The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.'
Matt.12:42(KJV)
