Get Married for LOVE, NOT LUST

In today's society, marriage has been abused over and over again.
Marriage was meant to be sacred bond between a man and a woman.
When people marry they become one flesh, so they must realize that they are both flawed individuals and that they are to help the other grow each day.
Genesis 2:23-24 states, "The man said, "This is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of a Man" (NLT).
People should get married for love.
Love is the foundation that can withstand an issues within a relationship.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7; 13 stated the following: Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.
It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
(...
) Now faith, hope, and love remain; these three things, but the greatest of these is love.
(NLT) I hear so many people say, "Sex should be the main focus in a marriage, or else it won't last.
" I would have to disagree completely.
I had a conversation with a guy over this topic and his view was, "It is always better to "try on the outfit" before you buy.
I was disgusted by his comments, but at the same time, not surprised, because so many people think that way in today's society.
Women, and people in general, should not viewed as objects, but as an individual who has feelings.
If sex is the main focus, that marriage will fail.
If sex is the main focus, you will be inclined to pressure your spouse for it, and when you do not get what you want, that leaves the door open to affairs.
Love should overcome lust in your relationship; when lust fades away, what would you have left? As Christians, we need to make sure that we understand the difference between love and lust.
That is why we should always let the Holy Spirit lead us and not follow our own flesh.
According to Bartlett (2014), "True love is driven by a godly desire to provide for, nurture and care for the other person's needs, whereas lust is driven by an ungodly desire to provide for, nurture and care for our own sinful passions" ("What is the difference?, para, 1).
