Rain-X Directions
- 1). Turn the ignition to "accessory," turn on your windshield wiper blades and switch off the ignition when the blades are in the middle of the cycle. Lift the wiper arm off of the windshield by hand, press the tab on the bottom of the blade at the connector clip and pull off the wiper blade.
- 2). Match the wiper blade up with the proper replacement at a local auto supply store. Turn on the engine, activate the wipers, lowering them to their resting position. Turn off the wiper control and the engine.
- 3). Remove the clear plastic cover from the new wiper blade and slide the J-hook at the end of the wiper blade into the connector on the windshield wiper. Turn the connector slightly by hand and rotate it until you hear a click which signifies the blade is locked into place.
- 4). Turn the wiper blade slightly and make sure the installation is secure. Rest the wiper blade on the windshield. Repeat the process for the other wiper blade. Turn on the engine and wiper control, and activate the washer fluid squirter windshield wipers to test their operation.
