- 1). Open the 2001 BMW 330i's trunk and locate the rear of the bulb holder on the right or left rear of the vehicle in the fender area.
- 2). Press the bulb holder clasp to release the bulb holder and remove it from its cradle.
- 3). Unplug the power supply to the bulb holder.
- 4). Turn the taillight bulb to the left with light pressure to release it from the bulb holder and remove the bulb.
- 5). Place a new taillight bulb in the bulb holder and turn it to the right with light pressure until the bulb clicks into place. Be sure to wear a glove or use a paper towel to handle the new bulb.
- 6). Plug the power supply back into the bulb holder.
- 7). Place the bulb holder back into its cradle, applying gentle pressure to the bulb holder and the bulb holder clasp until you hear the bulb holder engage.
