    Diluting the Stain

    • 1). Scrape off as much crayon as you can with a blunt knife.

    • 2). Spray the remainder of the stain with a lubricant, such as WD-40, and leave it for a few minutes. It will dilute the wax crayon, making it easier to remove.

    • 3). Scrub the stain with a hard-bristled brush to loosen the wax.

    • 4). Wipe the area with paper towels.

    • 5). Apply more lubricant and add a mild soap and water to the stain too. Scrub with the brush.

    • 6). Wipe the stain with a wet sponge to finish clearing off the stain.

    • 7). Repeat the procedure, if crayon residue remains.

    Iron Off the Wax

    • 1). Cover the stain with a paper bag and press the bag with a hot iron, letting the heat go through the bag to melt the wax.

    • 2). Place a clean part of the paper bag over the stain and iron again, if wax remains on the seat.

    • 3). Repeat the process until the crayon is completely removed.
