You need the full first name, last name and middle name of the person, which jail is holding them, their booking number and the charges they are being accused of. Once the defendant is released from the jail. Or they can hire a private detective and have you captured and surrendered back to the court. That is the agreement the cosigner makes when they decide they are going to help a loved one get out of jail. If the defendant goes to court on time each time then the cosigner does not have anything to worry about, regardless of whether the defendant is guilty or not. The bond will be exonerated and you will no longer be liable.
