Have your opinion stand out - Since we are writing our own blog posts, it is highly encouraged to make an opinion and make it clear.
People follow our blogs because they want to know how we stand on different issues.
People who are following your blog understand what we are saying and they are excited to see what we will say next, so make sure you are stating things based on facts but with your own spice to it.
I can't say this enough, build a great deal of inbound and outbound links - The search engines are wanting to see websites that have a good deal of links back to it as long as the subjects are relevant.
It means that your website is the end all to posts all over the internet.
Let me make this clear though, don't do too many links in an article.
I typically will do two links per article and they are usually in my resource box.
A good way to get higher page rank is to have other bloggers link to your posts as well.
Don't have too many words in your blog - Have you ever heard the saying, less is more? Well in this case it is very true.
Don't make a blog too long.
Make it clear what you are trying to get across in 300 - 700 words at most.
Make your headlines attractive to the eye - When you have powerful titles, you can get people to see you more often than not.
Make it clear and concise.
Your readers have to know what is in it for them.
This will make you different from your competition and get you to another level quickly.
Be creative but don't go overboard.
Use your gut and write with your feelings - This is not any different than with anything else in business.
If it comes from your inner being, putting your heart and soul in it, you will see much success! These are just a few steps to utilize to make your writing better right away! I know you can do it!
