    • 1). Place the toilet tank on top of the bowl unit and ensure that the rubber gasket in the bottom of the tank is firmly settled into the water tube on the back of the bowl.

    • 2). Place rubber washers on the toilet tank bolts and slide the bolts through the holes in the bottom of the toilet tank. The ends of the bolts should protrude through the holes in the back of the toilet bowl.

    • 3). Thread nuts onto the toilet tank bolts with your hands until you can't turn them anymore.

    • 4). Use a socket wrench and a socket of the right size to tighten the nuts onto the toilet tank bolts. Be careful not to over-tighten the bolts or you may crack the toilet tank or rip the rubber gaskets.
