    • 1). Test the passenger side crash sensor, located on the crossmember under the radiator, using an electrical tester. The sensor should read 950 and 1050 ohms. If the connector reads below this reading, replace the sensor.

    • 2). Inspect the wiring running along the crossmember under the radiator from the passenger side crash sensor to the passenger side sensor. Replace any damaged piece of wire by splicing in a replacement piece of the same gauge electrical wire using wire strippers and electrical tape.

    • 3). Test the driver side crash sensor, located on the crossmember under the radiator, using an electrical tester. The sensor should read 950 and 1050 ohms. If the connector reads below this reading, replace the sensor.

    • 4). Inspect the wiring running from each crash sensor to the vehicle's computer, located near the firewall. Replace any damaged piece of wire by splicing in a replacement piece of the same gauge electrical wire using wire strippers and electrical tape.
