How to Jailbreak the iPod Touch Without Losing Music

1). Launch the Safari Web browser on your iPod touch by tapping its icon on the home screen.
2). Navigate to the JailbreakMe website by typing "http://www.jailbreakme.com" into the address bar and tapping the "Go" button on the on-screen keyboard.
3). Tap the green "Free" button in the upper right corner to begin downloading the Cydia app store application and initiate the jailbreaking process.
4). Launch Cydia when the download has completed.
5). Tap the "Complete Upgrade" button in the pop-up dialog box. The latest version of Cydia is downloaded, and the iPod touch restarts to complete the jailbreak process. Once the device has restarted, it's fully jailbroken without losing any music or content.
