- 1). Press the "Menu" key on the remote. Use the directional keys to select "Setup," then select "Video." Navigate to Page 3, then select the "Geomagnetic Correct" option. Use the directional keys to adjust the geomagnetic settings until the bar on the screen is horizontal. Press the "Menu" key to exit. "Degaussing" appears on the screen, then the screen distorts momentarily. A clicking sound is heard, then the screen returns to normal viewing.
- 2). Turn the television off if the geomagnetic correction did not work, wait for approximately 20 minutes, then turn the television back on.
- 3). Turn the television off and move it to a different location. Wait approximately 20 minutes, then turn the television back on.
- 1). Check the main power cord to see if it is securely plugged into an electrical socket. If it is loose (or not plugged in), plug the power cord securely into the socket.
- 2). Plug the power cord into a different socket. If the socket it is currently plugged into is dead, the television does not receive power.
- 3). Try turning the television on with the remote control, then try pressing the power button on the television's front panel. If the button on the front panel works but the remote does not, change the remote's batteries.
