2003 Tahoe Car Speakers Removal and Installation
- 1). Pry around the edges of the trim behind the door release handle with the tip of a panel tool. Pry off the triangular sail panel at the upper edge of the door panel with the panel tool. Pry out the door lock assembly with the panel tool.
- 2). Remove the 7 mm bolts from under the door pull, the lower front edge of the door panel and the bottom edge of the door panel with a 7 mm socket and ratchet.
- 3). Lift up on the door panel to remove it from the door.
- 4). Remove the four 7 mm bolts from the perimeter of the speaker with the 7 mm socket and ratchet.
- 5). Unplug the speaker from the speaker wires. Plug the new speaker into the wires, place it in the door and screw it in place with the 7 mm bolts. Test the speaker before reassembling the door.
- 6). Repeat Steps 1 through 5 for the other front door's speaker.
