"Tango and Cash" is a 1989 Warner Brothers comedic action film directed by Andrei Konchalovsky and Albert Magnoli. It stars Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell as rival Los Angeles policemen who are imprisoned for a crime they didn't commit. The film was released on a single, 25-gigabyte blu-ray disc in April of 2009, and is 104 minutes in length. - "Tango and Cash" is presented in the VC-1 video codec and with a resolution of 1080p. It has an aspect ratio of 2.40:1, compared to the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.39:1. Artifacts are minimal, and the picture maintains some of the original film grain look.
- The blu-ray features Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtracks in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Russian, as well as a Dolby TrueHD 5.1 lossless English soundtrack. Although ambient effects are largely limited to the front portion of the soundstage, some scenes (such as one involving a rainstorm) use the blu-ray surround sound capabilities to their full effect.
- The blu-ray contains one special feature: a theatrical trailer presented at a resolution of 480p. It is one minute and 22 seconds long. The Blu-Ray also features subtitles in English, French, Dutch, German, Italian, Russian, Finnish, Danish, Spanish, Swedish, Portugese, Polish and Norwegian.
