All for Jesus
Deuteronomy 6:5, "And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Yes, pride is conceived in the heart, God speaks of a pure heart. The heart is who we are as a person, our character. We are to love God with our whole heart with no room in our heart for pride, thus producing a pure heart.
The soul, the spiritual part of man, is able to love. The Bible speaks of the soul being converted, that the soul can be joyful and also grieved. The spirit man can be spiritually minded and have spiritual gifts.  Â
One's might is one's physical strength. A person's force, his actions, what his hand does. To exhaust himself for the Lord.Â
 Â
I believe God is telling us not to be a slave of the world, do you get the point? What do you have in your life that you won't let go? What is bigger than God? What do I do that I tell myself it's not that bad, it's not bad at all, or it's not a sin.
My dear friend, may I call you friend? Where do I run when I can't take it any more? Every 5 min., 30 min., a couple of hours, do I guzzle coffee till I'm blue? What is my excessive behavior? What is out of balance in my life? God knows!
Again, am I in denial? A friend of mine Larry, loves to use that word, and it's true. God knows! If I will just be honest with God, He is faithful to complete His perfect work in me; tell me of my short comings and be victorius, if I will honour Him in the victory.
Ok, do I want God's perfect work in my life? It's easy to say yes, but difficult to execute.Â
There are times I feel I must do something, or something is alright to do. God would that I must have Him, in all things, before all things. Then, and only then, is when I choose God's perfect work in my life.
There is a time, after our salvation experience, that we ask; what in my life displeases you Lord?
It is easy to see that illegal vises are sin, what about social activities or our personal justifications. We are to do everything we can to take care of our bodies. We are to be dead to the world and alive in Christ.
Worldly desires, glutiny, caffeine, nicotine, lust, pride, anger, jealousy, coveteous, lying, cheating, stealing are but a few.
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead, can deliver one from over eating, the need for that cup of coffee just to make it out of bed. Also the addiction of cigarettes, the inhaling of smoke, full of drugs to ward off shaky nerves, or the idea that I deserve one, after all, I have given up so much. What gives us the right to decide what to give to God.
What joy to be expressed in the release from great addictions and bondage, and to share what Jesus has done for us. To be part of what God is doing and to share the facts of what he is doing in us, thus making us legitimate in the army of "The Most High."Â Â Â
Commit, make it real, grow! Until then, love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, soul and might. We give things to the Lord, He gives back much much more.
Let's Pray, to cleans us from all unrighteousness.
                                     God Bless, Chuck.                              Â
