- 1). Power on your computer and wait for the operating system to start up. When it is ready, insert the USB receiver of the keyboard into an open USB port on the back or side of your computer.
- 2). Turn the DiNovo keyboard over and slide the battery panel cover (located in the top center of the device) off. Insert four "AAA" batteries into the battery compartment, paying attention to the "+" and "-" polarity symbols inside. When the batteries are in place, replace the battery panel cover.
- 3). Slide the "Power" switch located on the top right-hand corner of the keyboard into the "On" position. The power indicator light, located just under this switch, will light up, indicating the keyboard is powered on. Press the "Start" button on the lower left corner of the keyboard once to connect the keyboard to the receiver.
- 4). Insert the installation CD that came with the keyboard into the CD drive of your computer. When the disc is inserted, an installation wizard will appear automatically. On the first screen, click on the "Next" button to begin installation. Click the "Browse" button to select a location to install the software, then click "Next." Wait for the progress bar to reach 100 percent completion, then click "Finish" to finalize the installation.
