- 1). Open the core filter by pulling the tube apart at the seam so it opens in two halves connected by a hinge.
- 2). Insert the video cable into the groove inside the core filter about 3 cm up from the USB plug that attaches to the JVC video camera.
- 3). Close the core filter around the cable and press the outside of the filter until it locks with a click.
- 4). Connect the USB plug on the end of the cable to the back of the camera and attach the other end of the cable to a compatible AV device, such as a computer or TV.
