How to Get All Your Satellite Channels
- 1). Reset your satellite receiver by unplugging its power cord and waiting 30 seconds. Plug the satellite receiver back in and allow it to complete its boot cycle. Once the receiver powers on, check the channels that were missing before and see if they are still missing.
- 2). Unscrew the coaxial cable input on the back of the satellite receiver and check the copper needle that runs through the middle for any bending or damage. Screw the cable back on until it is hand tight. Again, check the channels to see if they have come back on.
- 3). Contact your satellite provider's technical support department. It could be that you are simply located in a channel outage area, in which case all the troubleshooting in the world will not restore your channels.
