Looking for the right all-in-one machine that can provide you with all your requirements, such as wireless document and photo printing, scanning, and copying, the latest of the Canon PIXMA series, the MG 8220, may be the choice for you. Checking out various Canon MG8220 reviews online may be able to help you decide for yourself.

This all-in-one device is a combination of quality performance and stunning beauty. It is versatile that it produces outstanding lab quality photo prints and vividly clear texts, plus top excellent scans and copies. Add to that its virtual ease of use combined with a beautiful, smooth and shiny black body.

The PIXMA MG8220 is known for its exceptional photo printing capability like most Canon printers, due to six ink-tanks where two kinds of black inks are used, one is for crisp clear texts and the other used with cyan, magenta, yellow and gray for professional quality photos. On top of that, the ChromaLife100+ system assures that your photos can last as long as 300 years.

Another advantage is its capacity for wireless printing wherever you may be as long as you are inside your LAN at the office or at home. Additionally, with the standard PictBridge or the optional Canon BU-30 Bluetooth adapter, you can also enjoy printing and scanning directly but wirelessly with compatible devices such as digital cameras, smartphones and laptops.

Parts of the MG8220 package are bundled software and applications that allow you to perform online photo printing without a computer, printing with no need for driver installation, printing on printable CD, DVD or Blu-Ray disks, and even printing snapshots taken from HD movie clips.

With speeds of 12.5 images per minute (ipm) for black and 9.3 images per minute for color, plus approximately 20 seconds for a 4€ x 6€ borderless photo, many of the users that left comments and reviewed the product are by and large satisfied with the MG8220's performance. Some even go further to say they got all they need with this multifunction printer.

There were users who have reported negative issues such as not including a USB cord in the box when it is necessary to use for the scanner function, or a full page photo taking longer to print up to about 1.5 minutes, and lastly, after a period of non-use, the printer takes a long time to wake up. But in all, most users are agreeable that these issues are easily dealt with.

The Canon MG8220 has a high premium but many would say it more than compensates for the price. It would be good to do some reading on the many reviews online to help you make a good decision.
