EFT For Depression - 5 Top Tips

Do you suffer from depression? Do you know somebody who does and you want to use EFT to help them? EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is an excellent, fast and easy way to help treat and cure depression in yourself and others.
Depression is not something that you can buy at the supermarket.
Yet we think of depression as an object and something real.
You cannot pick it up and put it in your shopping basket.
Depression can have many other names: low self esteem, just feeling unhappy, feeling like..
..
, sadness, fear, guilt, not being on top form etc.
Here are my top tips for treating and curing depression with EFT.
1.
Not Being Specific Enough - Since depression can go by any other name, if you are tapping for depression.
Depression is a very global and large term.
Whilst just tapping with the following phrase - Even though I have this depression will get results.
It will take a longer time for you to see the results that you want.
The more specific you are, the quicker and bigger your results.
Ask yourself When do I notice that I suffer from depression? Be honest with yourself, do you feel depressed all the time? How do I suffer from depression? If you had to teach me how you do depression for the day.
How would you describe your depression? What does it feel like? When does it happen? Does it have a color or physical location in your body? What are your physical symptoms? Tap on a physical symptom.
Even though I have this heavy weight in my back.
Who specifically triggers your 'depressed' sensations? Often you can feel great until you see somebody and they say something to you.
What triggers your depression? Is it a thought or at a specific time, location? When you talk to others about what you are experiencing, how do you describe it? Do you tap on what you experience? 2.
Wrong Emotion - Since there are so many words to describe your depression or what you think is depression.
You most likely are tapping on the wrong emotion.
Luckily for you, EFT always works, so tapping on any emotions will bring you results.
I remember tapping when I was just feeling down, yet nothing was shifting for me.
Then I tapped on low self esteem and bam, I had an EFT Champagne moment.
I had no idea I was suffering from low self esteem.

Giving Up Too Soon -Many people give up too soon with EFT and tapping on depression.
This is often because you are not tapping on what you are actually feeling or experiencing.
Do EFT little and often.
Think of what you are feeling.
Go grab a thesaurus, tap on all the words related to what you think you are feeling.

Depression Helps You - Why would you want to give up being depressed and holding on to it like a badge of honor? People with depression get treated differently by their friends and family.
People like feeling special and at the centre of attention.
Do you fear losing all this special attention when you give up feeling depressed? 5.
Many Sides To Depression - Since there are many words to describe depression, do you actually have depression? Are you hiding other emotions? Anger, fear, sadness or guilt.
Depression is often a mask for one of the higher primary emotions.
What are you angry about? What do you fear? What would happen in the next 30 days if you tapped on all the primary emotions first in all you major life areas?
