The Bottom Line

The animal tiles have different background colors on each side and some have the animal in a different pose. For ex: the turtle is in his shell on one side and out of it on the other. To play: Players look at the tiles then all but one close their eyes. The player picks two tiles, flips them over, and switches their spots. They place magnetic markers on their answer board for the two animals they switched.

The other players look and place markers on their boards. If they're right they score!

Guide Review - Crazy Mixed Up Zoo Family Game

My daughter and I both enjoy this game, it's very clever and a wonderful learning tool too! At first I thought the concept might be a little over her head but after two rounds she got the hang of it and wants to play it all the time.

You can easily increase or lower the difficulty level by adding or removing the number of tiles in play. The drawings are cute and the product is well made. I only had a minor concern that the answer boards have gotten a little worn (you can hardly see it) because of the magnetic bottoms of the markers, but so far it's only a little bit although it might get a bit worse with extended use. This family game is wonderful, another favorite, and even challenges adults if they don't pay close attention!
