- 1). Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to your Verizon FiOS modem or router, pushing the Ethernet connector in until it fits snugly into the port.
- 2). Attach the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the back of the Series 2 Tivo, again just pushing until the Ethernet cable will not go in any farther.
- 3). Reset your FiOS network by unplugging its power cord for 30 seconds and plugging it back in. Devices that use Ethernet connections will not recognize that something new has been plugging into them until they are reset, so this is an essential step for the integration of your Tivo into our FiOS network.
