Testing the Video Performane of the BenQ W1080ST DLP Video Projector

106 100
The following video performance tests for the BenQ W1080ST Projector were conducted with an Oppo DV-980H DVD Player. The player was set for NTSC 480i resolution output and connected to the W1080ST alternately via the Composite Video and HDMI connection option, so that test results reflected video processing performance of the W1080ST. The test results are shown as measured by the Silicon Optix (IDT) HQV DVD Benchmark Disc.

Additional high definition and 3D tests were conducted using an Oppo BDP-103 Blu-ray Disc player in conjunction with both the HVQ HD HQV Benchmark and Spears and Munsil HD Benchmark 3D Disc 2nd Edition test discs.

All tests were conducted using the W1080ST factory default settings.

Screen shots in this gallery were obtained using a Sony DSC-R1 Still Camera.
