    • 1). Press the “Menu” button on the iPod Nano controls. The main menu will appear.

    • 2). Move your finger lightly along the surface of the click wheel, the round circle around the center button, to scroll through the menu options. Do not press hard enough on the click wheel to actually press the buttons on it down.

    • 3). Press the center button when “Radio” is highlighted in the iPod Nano main menu. This will open the radio screen. A large number in the center of the screen indicates the current station dialed into the FM tuner. A radio dial will appear along the bottom edge of the screen as well.

    • 4). Lightly move your finger along the surface of the click wheel. This will manually turn the radio dial at the bottom of the screen, changing the radio station.

    • 5). Press the “Next” or “Previous” button on the iPod Nano to automatically seek the next or previous radio station. The seek function automatically dials to the next radio frequency with a clear signal.

    • 6). Hold down the “Next” or “Previous” buttons for five seconds before releasing it to turn on scan mode. The iPod Nano will play each radio station for five seconds before going to the next one while scan mode is on.

    • 7). Press the center button to turn off scan mode. The FM tuner will stay on the radio station currently playing once you do.
