Navigon GPS 7500 Instructions
- 1). Power on the Navigon 7500 by pressing and holding the "Power" button located at the top of the device. It is recommended that you not drive your vehicle when entering information into the device, so program the device before you leave or pull over to a parking spot to avoid accidents and mishaps.
- 2). Wait for the main screen to appear on the display. When it does, press the "New Destination" button with your finger. This will bring up the "Destination Search" menu, from which you can choose to search for an address or a point of interest, or select a point on the displayed map. Choose your option by pressing it with your finger.
- 3). Key information into the displayed "Search Area" fields using the touchscreen keyboard. First you will need to enter the city or zip code for the area your destination is in. Type the first few letters of the city, and a list of cities will appear. Select your city from the list when it appears by pressing it with your finger.
- 4). Type in the name of the street you want to find, followed by the address, using the touchscreen keypad if you are searching for an address. If you are searching for a point of interest, you will need to select the category of the type of place you are looking for; a list of places near your destination will appear. Touch your choice to select it. If you are choosing a point on the map, a map will appear. Simply touch the location you want to travel to.
- 5). When you have selected your location, press the "Start Navigation" button. The moving map will appear, displaying the street you are on, your next turn and information on how far away that turn is, as well as how far away your destination is and your estimated time of arrival. Follow the voice commands and onscreen instructions to reach your destination.
