How to Remove an Offset Disc Bearing
- 1). Move the offset disc to an area where you can work on the implement. This can be on your driveway or in a garage.
- 2). Loosen the nut on the gang bolt by using the socket wrench. Remove the nut from the gang bolt and set it aside. Pull the bearing and housing off of the gang bolt.
- 3). Locate the snap ring that attaches to the housing. Remove this snap ring from the housing by pulling it off with the pliers. Press on the back of the bearing to force it out of the housing.
- 4). Repeat this process to remove worn-out gang bearings from the gang bolts on the offset disc.
