    Munchmobile Crab Cake Festival

    • The Munchmobile Crab Cake Festival and Shore Chef Cook-Off is held annually at the Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport, New Jersey. Many of the state's best chefs compete at the festival for the title of New Jersey's best crab cake. Other kinds of seafood can be purchased as well, including chowder, lobster rolls, salmon burgers and ceviche. Admission is $3 and comes with the opportunity to vote for your favorite foods in the people's choice awards.

    Maryland Seafood Festival

    • The Maryland Seafood Festival has been held at Sandy Point State Park for more than 40 years, and usually draws over 20,000 visitors who enjoy food, live music, exhibits, and arts and crafts. The event features a crab cake eating contest, crab soup cook-off and Maryland fishing challenge competition. A variety of seafood delicacies can be purchased from vendors that include local restaurants and non-profit organizations.

    Chesapeake Crab and Beer Festival

    • The Chesapeake Crab and Beer Festival is located on the Waterfront at National Harbor in Maryland. Attendees will enjoy all-you-can-eat crabs, corn-on-the-cob, cole slaw, potato chips, and about 40 types of beer and wine. Crab cakes are likely to be among the additional food items available for purchase onsite, although they may be eclipsed by the steamed crabs. The event also includes music, a crab pickin' contest and a crab race.

    Mendocino Crab and Wine Days

    • The Mendocino Crab and Wine Days, held in Mendocino County, California, features Dungeness crab served with local wines and ale. Guests can select from a variety of events, including crab feeds, crabbing demonstrations, winemaker dinners, cooking classes, wine competitions, and other food- and wine-related events. The festival, which lasts for 10 days, also provides breathtaking views of the Pacific coast.

    Dungeness Crab and Seafood Festival

    • The Dungeness Crab and Seafood Festival is held annually in Port Angeles, Washington, which calls itself "Home of the Dungeness Crab." Admission is free and visitors will have the opportunity to purchase plenty of crabs and sides. Many cooking demonstrations and competitions are held at the festival, including a Grab-A-Crab Tank Derby.
