How to Hook CB Radio Jumpers Up on Amps
- 1). Disconnect the antenna from the back of the CB radio. Turn the outer screw casing of the antenna connector to the left until the connector is loose, and then pull the connector out.
- 2). Plug the end of the jumper cable with the antenna connector into the antenna output on the back of the CB radio. Turn the outer screw casing to the right.
- 3). Loosen the red and black thumbscrews on the back of the linear amplifier. Slide the spade terminal on the jumper cable's red wire under the red thumb screw and turn the screw until the connector is tightly held in place. Slide the spade terminal on the jumper cable's black wire under the black thumb screw and turn the screw until the connector is tightly held in place.
