Communications sent between TeamViewer apps are encrypted using 256-bit AES Session encoding and 1024-bit RSA Key Exchange standards.

LogMeIn

The LogMeIn client software is set up and configured through a desktop Web browser. Once this is done you can use the free LogMeIn app to get connected to your PC. You can open up files, launch applications, wake up a sleeping PC and perform any task you could if you were actually at your machine. For $39.99 a year as of August 2013 you can sign up to the Pro plan, which brings with it additional features such as HD video streaming and the ability to transfer files to your iPhone from the computer. The LogMeIn app is compatible with any device running iOS 4.3 or later and is optimized for the iPhone 5.

While the app is free to download, to access your computer over a Wi-Fi or 3G/4G connection you must purchase an Anywhere Access Pack from within the app. Prices start at $1.99 for a month's subscription as of August 2013. Splashtop Personal utilizes a fully secure, 256-bit AES encrypted SSL connection when in use.
