1.
What should I write in the "about" page
-Writing about yourself is difficult.
So I began writing notes about myself - you know, my life story, etc...
after all, the "about" page was supposed to be about me, right? WRONG! Always remember this very important and valuable tip.
If you are using your blog as a business, then it is all about your customers, not you! This means that your "about" page should always be about the benefits and advantages your site can offer your visitors and customers.
Follow this valuable step and you will definitely attract more readers.
2.
It must have an objective and valuable information-
I want to give you three important tips regarding this point.
It is important that your page has an objective (a call to action) - for example getting people to opt in if you are using your blog for a business.
The next crucial step is to be very informative on how your site can benefit your readers.
The third point is that you must explain to your audience why it is worth listening to you.
3.
Use your own style-
The three tips I have discussed in the previous paragraph are crucial, but it is even more important to use your own style when writing your "about" page.
What I mean is that you can structure your "about" page in pretty much the same way as other bloggers who are using this method, but do it in your own style.
( Remember you want to brand your Blog ) To summarize - Go and spy on other successful blogger's "about" pages and look what they do.
Then use their formats and do it in a way that works for you.
Remember the following valuable points when writing your "about" page to attract more readers:
  • Tell your readers what the benefits for them are if they visit your site
  • Call them to action (follow me on Facebook, comment on my posts etc.
    )
  • Introduce yourself, but make it short
Always remember that the resource box is one of the most critical parts of your article marketing strategy.
The resource box is your opportunity to tell readers what you have to offer and what they should do next.
A killer resource box will drive visitors to your site while improving your ranking, traffic and ultimately, your sales.
Make use of these tips when writing your "about" page and I am pretty sure it will work for you.
Enjoy your blogging! Jan
