How to Connect a DVD to an Analog Converter Box
- 1). Plug the DVD player, analog converter box and television into an electrical outlet. If you have a surge protector it is best to use one of these with electrical equipment. The surge protectors helps defend the devices from electrical storms.
- 2). Plug a coaxial cable into the "Out" port on the DVD player. The port is a single, circular item with a grooved exterior that you screw the cable fastener onto.
- 3). Connect the other end of the coaxial cable to the "In" port on the converter box.
- 4). Attach a second coaxial cable into the "Out" port of the analog converter box and plug the opposite end into the "In" port on the television.
- 5). Power on all three devices if you want to watch a movie from a DVD. If you only want to watch television you do not need the DVD player on.
