Click "Download iTunes" in that box. Follow the on-screen instructions in order to install these updates. The installation instructions may vary based upon your operating system and the iTunes update. Your computer should be running iTunes 7.4 or a more recent version when attempting to sync games with an iPod Classic.

    • 2). Check that the iPod games are compatible with the iPod Classic. Go to the iPod Click Wheel Games website and click the name of the iPod game you wish to sync with the iPod Classic. Scroll to the bottom of the game page until you see the "System Requirements" box. A list of compatible iPods for that game will appear inside the box. Hold down the "Select" (Center) and "Menu" buttons on the iPod Classic for no less than six seconds. Hold these two buttons until you see the Apple logo appear on the iPod screen.

    • 5). Install any available software updates for the iPod Classic. Open the iTunes program. Connect the iPod Classic to the computer. Click the iPod Classic name on the left side of iTunes. Then, click on the "Check for Updates" option inside the middle of iTunes. Follow the instructions that appear in iTunes in order to install the updates on the iPod Classic.

    • 6). Try to sync individual games onto the iPod Classic. Open iTunes and connect the player to the computer. Click the iPod Classic name on the left side of iTunes. Then, click the "Games" tab at the top of iTunes. Click the "Sync games" option inside iTunes. Then, click the "Selected games" option. All of the iPod games you've downloaded will appear. Click every iPod game you wish to sync onto the player. Then, click "Apply" at the bottom of iTunes. The iPod games should sync onto the iPod Classic.
