How Do I Replace the Factory Speakers in a '96 Dodge Caravan?
- 1). Insert the tip of a panel tool under the edge of the dashboard cover--the portion with the speaker grilles built into it. Pry upward, working from one side to the other, until the cover is loose. Pull the cover toward you to remove it.
- 2). Loosen and remove the two Phillips screws that hold each speaker in place. Pull the speakers out. Unplug the wires connected to the back of the speakers.
- 3). Connect the wires to the new speakers. Place the speakers in the openings. Screw the Phillips screw back into place. Replace the panel after testing the speakers.
