How to Run My Television Onto a Projection Screen
- 1). Locate the source of the image being displayed on your television screen. If you're watching standard programming, for example, the source would be your cable or satellite television box. If you're watching a DVD or Blu-Ray disc, then the source would be your DVD or Blu-Ray player.
- 2). Disconnect from your television the audio and video cables that are connecting it to the video source. One end of the cables should still be plugged into the source, while the ends that were previously plugged into the television set should now not be plugged into anything.
- 3). Plug the ends of the cables that were previously plugged into the television set into one of the audio/video inputs on the projector. Now, instead of transferring audio and video data to your television set, the source of the image will be transmitting audio and video data directly to the projector.
- 4). Plug the projector into a wall outlet and press "Power" to turn it on. Your projector will now be displaying the image that was previously being displayed by your television set.
